Watch Dog

We have a new program at school called Watch Dogs.  Dads come and help out the teachers for a day.  Daddy was a big hit at recess.  He was extra tired after his big day.  Jackson can't wait for Daddy to come back!

First Day of Kindergarten

Today was Jackson's first day of Kindergarten!  I didn't even have time to cry because I had to hurry away to my own classroom.  I did seek down to see him at lunch time.  I made him a huge lunch and of course he only ate a few bites.  He had a great day and came home with a blue light!!  He made sure to tell me he had a special binder with all his school papers in it and it had to come to school everyday.  I filled out all the forms and signed his folder-points for me!!  I will post pics soon.

Jackson had meet the teacher night on Thursday night.  His kindergarten teacher is Mrs. Payne.  He even made a few new friends!

First Sub-Q!

Today was Jackson's first sub-q treatment!!  It went pretty well.  Mommy and Daddy both went to learn how to administer sub-q at home.  Mommy is a little worried she can't do the sticking part.  Lucky for Jackson, we got numbing medicine.  He had two sites located on his stomach.  It was hard finding a spot to pinch and inch on him :)  He had a small reaction right after the pump started to flow, but overall it was a breeze.  Only two hours to pump.  We will check his levels in three months and will be praying that they go up.  The site looks like two huge swollen bumps on his tummy.  He is very upset to have a fat tummy :(  Just as we knew he would, he came through like a trooper.
