Could it be true? We are in the middle of arranging new IG treatment for Jackson! This new treatment is once weekly for two hours at home vs. once monthly for 4-6 hours at the infusion center. Jackson will have a small needle with a tube that connects to a pump. Think of a diabetes pump! The major bonus here would be that getting the infusion weekly would raise his levels. Jackson has very low levels for someone you receives IGIV monthly. When he was younger and more easily isolated this was not such a problem, but he is turning into an active young man. If all works out with insurance, we will start sub-q treatments when we return from Disney World in August.
